In a recent catch-up video, I answered one of the questions I’ve been getting more than any other, did I receive a fine after testing Australia’s AI-powered road safety cameras with a homemade plaster replica of my arm acting as a phone holder? The experiment was designed to see whether the system relied solely on AI or if images were reviewed by humans. The project turned out to be far more complicated than expected, particularly the plaster casting process, but it remains one of the most surprisingly popular videos I’ve made.
I also revisited my vintage bike suspension experiment, which ended in a spectacular crash. Alongside the project updates, I answered viewer questions about my filmmaking background, workshop habits, favourite projects, collaborations, camera gear, and the family life that often inspires the humour found throughout my videos. Hope you enjoy this insight into my everyday life.
